Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026. This policy explains what SignalDip (signaldip.com) collects and why. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

• Page statistics. We count page views, visits and time spent per page. These are totals per page per day. They contain no cookies, no IP addresses and nothing that identifies you.
• Problem reports. When you press the report button we store the service, the problem type you picked, the region if you chose one, and the time. There is no text box, so no written content is collected. To stop repeat reports we keep a scrambled, one-way code derived from your IP address for up to two hours, then delete it. We cannot turn that code back into an IP address.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. When ads are shown they are provided by Google AdSense and its partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to sites across the internet.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many vendors at aboutads.info.
• If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for your consent before advertising cookies are used, through a consent message certified by Google. Until you choose, advertising and analytics storage are switched off. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy link shown with the ads.

Cookies

SignalDip itself sets no cookies. Cookies may be set by Google's advertising services as described above, subject to your consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its use. Because we do not keep data that identifies you, there is usually nothing for us to look up, but you can write to contact@signaldip.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
